Our seed packing parties are drop-in style, so you are welcome to come when you are able and to stay as long as you'd like.
For more information or to join our seed packing email list, please contact Ann Marie at annmarie.pauley@andersonswcd.org.
Hosting a seed packing party means that you and/or your group/organization choose a date, time, and place for a seed packing party, and we will provide all the seed packing supplies to you.
To host a seed packing party or for related any questions, please contact Ann Marie at annmarie.pauley@andersonswcd.org.
We had three seed packing parties in Spring 2025 that were hosted by the Powdersville Library Branch. During these three seed packing parties, a total of 1,210 seed packets were packed. Thank you to the Powdersville Library patrons who helped us pack seeds for our Seed Library!
The most common way that our seed packing volunteers help with seed packing is through taking home a seed packing kit.
To take home a seed packing kit, come by our office (1521 Pearman Dairy Rd) between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Mondays through Fridays, and we will provide you with a kit.
If you are unfamiliar with packing seeds, we can give you some quick instructions, but instructions and contact information are included in seed packing kits.
Depending on your circumstances and how many seed packets you take to pack from home, we ask that you return them within one week. If you are unable to return them within a week, please let Ann Marie know.
For any questions about seed packing take home kits, please contact Ann Marie at annmarie.pauley@andersonswcd.org.
